Living in Ome - Since moving to Japan, one of the things that has made life here so wonderful is having real "seasons". Oh sometimes it's too hot or too cold, but it sure is not boring.

CRASH– Sichuan, China – Coordinating relief; bringing supplies,; setting up camps for children in what developed into “Operation Safe”, a program to help children overcome trauma through stories, games and other activities.

GCIS – After struggling with a lack of teachers for the past 3 years, God provided 3 wonderful interns who are fully committed to teach from the beginning to the end of this school year. Also, two of our students’ mothers received Christ at the beginning of the year and there are several new parents who are being exposed to God’s grace through their children’s attendance at the school.

GCIS - "undokai" (Means 'Sports Day') Grace Christian International School has produced so much fruit in the students as well as their parents. During the fall we have a really fun time in the park involving a little "friendly competition". Families, friends and students all share in this special event.

GCF – Ome Festival

GCF - Summer Festival "Matsuri"

GCF - Living Christmas

Bible Studies – Yokota Air Force Base, Ogikubo English Bible class

Manna from Heaven – God has provided the resources to enable us to distribute food to several orphanages, schools, churches and families in our community.

Gospel Music Ministry - We participate in this in a big way. Churches from around the Tokyo area join together for workshops and a wonderful concert. Many of the people attending these churches are not Christians, but they are looking to see what Jesus is about. While learning this music and performing it, many come to Christ.

Calvary Chapel Japan Conference - It is always so awesome to join with other CC's in Japan and churches from the US that join in this conference. This conference is a key time for us to connect with our brothers and sisters in America. It is a time of refreshing and healing.

Prayer and Praise:
We praise God for His continued provision in these difficult economic times. Pray that God would continue to provide for His work here.
Praise God for the growth and good ministry at the Yokota home fellowship. Pray that those who come would grow more and more in the knowledge of God.
Praise God for the opportunity to start a new women’s discipleship study in our home. Pray that the women would grow in faith and maturity in the Lord and be able to lead others in the same way.
Praise God that we have been able to have consistent language lessons each week. Continue to pray that God would help us speak and communicate well in Japanese.
Pray for God to help us grow in our relationships here at Grace Christian Fellowship.
Pray for our health during these very cold months.
Pray for God to continue to guide us and direct us with wisdom according to His will.
We wish you the best blessings for the year ahead. Please write, please pray and thank you for all you do as you partner with us to reach Japan with the Gospel.
